Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch known as QB was born in the city of Aradan, Iran on 4th May, 1988. She was only three years old when her parents moved from Iran to Pakistan. Her father Ghulam Abbas belongs to Persian ethnicity while her mother Sumera Iqbal belongs to the city of Multan, Pakistan. Traces of both the cultures are quite evident in the personality and appearance of Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch. She got her early education from the city of Multan. She studied at Kehkasha Army Public School Multan. After that, she got a degree in Multimedia from George Mason University.
Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch is known to be inspired from Pakistani renowned folk singer, Reshma. You can easily notice this influence in her singing. However, within a short period of time, Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch got enormous popularity. Actually, she got recognition after singing the title song of Hum TV drama serial ‘Humsafar’.
